Information we use
We may use the learner's or guardian's name, email address, phone number, selected programme, schedule, attendance information, communications and payment reference. Please do not send us card numbers, banking passwords or payment OTPs.
How information reaches us
The website enquiry form opens your email application with your name, email address and selected programme. The enquiry reaches SHIMORA only when you send that email. Razorpay's hosted checkout collects email, phone and student name and processes payment information under Razorpay's own privacy practices. Direct UPI payments are processed through your chosen payment application and banking providers.
Why we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, confirm enrolment, arrange and deliver classes, support learners, identify payments, handle cancellations or refunds, prevent misuse and keep records required for business, accounting or legal purposes.
Service providers
The website uses GitHub Pages for hosting, Google Fonts for typography and Razorpay for hosted payment buttons. These services may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when your device connects to them. Their own privacy notices also apply.
Children and media
A parent or legal guardian must enrol learners under 18. We seek appropriate permission before using a child's personal information for class administration. SHIMORA will not record a class without appropriate notice and consent. Photographs, videos or testimonials will be published only with the permission required for their use. Permission for optional promotional use may be withdrawn for future use by contacting us, subject to legal and practical limitations.
Storage and sharing
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above or to meet accounting and legal requirements. We do not sell personal information. We share information only with providers needed to run the service, when a person asks us to do so, or where disclosure is required by law.
Your choices
You may ask us to review or correct your information, withdraw optional permissions, or delete information where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for legal, payment or accounting reasons. We may need to verify the requester's identity before acting.
